Terms of use
Last updated 30 October 2026
These terms apply when you use the Regen app and its service. By using Regen, you agree to them.
About Regen
Regen is an independent app made by Kim-Robin Furø (Furo Engineering) in Norway. It isn’t made, approved or supported by Tesla, Inc. Regen uses Tesla’s official interface for third-party apps.
Your account
- You need a Tesla account with owner access to the car you add.
- Keep your phone and your Tesla account secure. Anyone who can open Regen on your phone can see your car and send it commands.
- You can stop using Regen and delete your account at any time in the app.
Remote commands
Regen sends commands to your car when you tap them, or when an automation you set up runs. Only send a command when it’s safe and legal to do so. You are responsible for the commands you send. Automations can never unlock the car or open its doors, trunk, frunk, windows or charge port.
Estimates
Battery health, range, costs, efficiency and driving scores are estimates calculated from the data your car reports. They can be wrong. Don’t rely on them for safety decisions, warranty claims or the sale of a car.
Regen Pro
- Regen Pro is an auto-renewing subscription bought through the App Store. The price is shown in the App Store before you buy.
- The subscription renews automatically unless you turn it off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your Apple ID settings.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store rules.
- We may change what is included in Free and Pro. Changes won’t reduce what you’ve already paid for in the current period.
Availability
Regen depends on Tesla’s services, your car’s connection and Regen’s server. It may sometimes be unavailable or show delayed data. We may change, add or remove features. If we ever shut Regen down, we’ll give notice in advance where we can.
Liability
Regen is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect losses, or for losses caused by Tesla’s services, your car or your network. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under Norwegian law.
Apple
Your licence to use the app also follows Apple’s standard licence agreement. Apple isn’t responsible for Regen or its support.
Law and disputes
Norwegian law applies. If we can’t solve a disagreement together, you can contact Forbrukerrådet (the Norwegian Consumer Council) or take it to the Norwegian courts.
Changes and contact
If we change these terms, we update this page and the date at the top. Questions go through the contact form.
